Janice Laforge shuffles off to police headquarters

************************* Thirty-six-year-old Janice Laforge of 138 Turner Avenue was arrested on the 24th of September at 1:40 p.m. on Tancred Street and charged with one count of theft under $5,000, one count of obstruct a peace officer and one count of breach of probation.

It is alleged that on the 24th of September at approximately 1:25 p.m. the accused attended at the Second Hand World shop on Tancred Street and stole an iPod valued at $36.98.

When officers were dealing with the accused she gave them a false name and address.

At the time of the incident the accused was on probation conditions to keep the peace and be of good behaviour.
