Jamie arrested for assault with a knife

On the 2nd of June, city police officers attended to Albert Street West in regards to two males fighting with knives.

Further investigation revealed that one of the males received a deep laceration to his left arm and was transported to hospital by ambulance with non-life threatening injuries.

As a result, 29-year-old Jamie Hurran of Albert Street West was arrested for assault with a weapon and will be appearing in bail court this morning.
