Jacob Desjardins meets his fans at the Gardens

Four-year-old Jacob Desjardins was busy getting acquainted with Soo Greyhounds centre Andrew Desjardins (no relation) today at Memorial Gardens.

It happened at the annual Season Ticket Holders Skate over the noon hour.

This coming Monday, February 20 the Soo Greyhounds will be launching their season ticket drive for the 2006/2007 OHL season.

Sales will be open to the general public.

Here's your chance to reserve your seat in the brand-new Sports and Entertainment Centre and not miss a single minute of the Hounds 34 home-game schedule.

Season ticket holders enjoy a number of benefits including a savings of up to 26 percent off the walk-up prices, exclusive season ticket holder events, giveaways, 10 percent off merchandise at the Hound Pound and more.

Early-bird discounted packages are available until May 5 while regular prices are in effect starting May 6.

Brochures with the complete details including pricing will be available starting this coming Friday and can be picked up at any of the Greyhound or Memorial Gardens office.

LAST GAME Sunday, March 19 7 p.m. VS Sarnia Sting MEMORIAL CUP NIGHT - welcome back members of the Memorial Cup Team - Lyndon Slewedge to sing the National Anthem - Terra Findlay, participant in the Canadian Dance Championships to perform in the final figure skating extravaganza during an intermission - post game banner ceremonies for the Memorial Cup Banner and the banners of the retired jerseys
