Brian MacDonald kindly provided us with some shots (gallery photos 1 to 4) of the wild Lake Superior waves near Gros Cap today, as did Patrick Shepherd (gallery photos 5 and 6).

"The winds are quite strong, blowing around 50 to 60 kms and the waves are at least 15 feet, and when joined sometimes around 20 feet," Shepherd told us.

Shepherd's photo were taken near Batchawana Bay.
