It's official: Lou Turco is re-elected

We're pleased to report that Lou Turco has been re-elected. Acclaimed, in fact. No, we don't mean as Ward 4 Councillor.

No, we don't mean as Ward 4 Councillor.

For that, Turco will have to run against Neil DelBianco, Lester Nagy and whoever else files nomination papers prior to the September 26 cut-off.

But Turco (shown in a SooToday.com file photo with an unidentified but rather fuzzier constituent) was re-elected yesterday to the board of directors of the Association of Municipalities of Ontario (AMO).

We're telling you that so you can show up to congratulate Lou on his re-election when he does his Saturday-morning live show on Talk Radio 1400 tomorrow from 9 a.m. to noon at Hollywood in Cambrian Mall.
