Investigators believe burglar hurt during Spanish job

SPANISH, ON - Sometime between the April 1 and April 10, culprits entered a residence on Brennan Harbour Road and stole a multitude of equipment to set up a house.

The culprits had cut the lock to the gate leading to the house and stole a refrigerator, kitchen utensils, table and chairs, propane heaters and an uninstalled door and frame.

The property was valued in excess of $10,000.

The amount and bulk of the equipment taken would indicate that there were at least two suspects.

Forensic evidence was gathered at the scene.

It appears as though one of the suspects suffered a substantial injury while stealing the property and was cut in the process.
