INTERNATIONAL BRIDGE ADMINISTRATION

**************************** The International Bridge Administration today announced that one-way traffic crossings of the International Bridge at Sault Ste. Marie totaled 138,277 for the month of June, 2009.

This represents a decrease of 21.8 percent as compared to June, 2008 To view traffic statistics for the month, click here.

Traffic for calendar year 2009 has totaled 758,775 vehicles; this represents a decrease of 18 percent as compared to 2008.

Since the bridge opened in 1962, over 87.1 million vehicles have crossed the structure.
