SAULT STE. MARIE BRIDGE AUTHORITY

****************************** The International Bridge Administration today announced that one-way traffic crossings of the International Bridge at Sault Ste. Marie totaled 118,393 for the month of February, 2010.

This represents an increase of 4.5 percent as compared to February, 2009.

Traffic for calendar year 2010 has totaled 242,559 vehicles; this represents an increase of 4.9 percent as compared to 2009.

Since the bridge opened in 1962, over 88.2 million vehicles have crossed the structure.
