Injuries reported in Second Line crash

A 34-year-old man was taken to Sault Area Hospital by ambulance last night after a two-vehicle collision in the 300 block of Second Line West.

A 34-year-old man was taken to Sault Area Hospital by ambulance last night after a two-vehicle collision in the 300 block of Second Line West.

The man was driving a pickup truck that turned left out of a private road and collided with a car travelling west on Second Line just before 6 p.m.

He was charged under the Highway Traffic Act with failing to yield from a private road.

The man's injuries were not considered life-threatening.

The 57-year-old driver of the car was injured but did not require hospitalization.

Damage to both vehicles was severe.
