If you're in the mood for some fall foliage, you'll want to know that COPS (the Community Operated Police Storefront) and Crime Stoppers are organizing a Fall Colour Run.

The event, sponsored by a group of Sault Ste. Marie auto dealers, takes place on Sunday, September 28th. To participate, you need to collect a minimum of $100 in pledges per vehicle.

One free dinner is included for every $100. There's a minimum of two people per car.

The drive starts at the OPP station at 742 Great Northern Road and ends at Buttermilk Alpine Ski Village in Goulais River.

A full buffet dinner with live entertainment from Twin City Rollers costs $19.95 per person. You're asked to reserve in advance. The deadline to register is Monday, September 25. Pledge forms and packages are available at the COPS storefront at 514 Queen Street East, participating car dealers, the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service, or at the Ontario Provincial Police Station. For more information call COPS at 256-7313.
