Important notice from Bear Your Heart Community Outreach

BEAR YOUR HEART COMMUNITY OUTREACH

************************* Due to recent circumstances, Bear Your Heart Community Outreach will be cancelling our Fourth Annual Christmas Day Dinner which was to be held on December 25 at Boston Pizza.

Although Boston Pizza continues to be supportive of our organization, circumstances beyond our control (and theirs) made it difficult for us to proceed with our event that was planned at their venue.

We apologize to everyone for the abrupt cancellation.

However we have made alternative arrangements with North 82.

Bear Your Heart will be assisting North 82 with their Christmas dinner on Christmas Day.

Their dinner will be served between 11:30-2:30 p.m.

We will have Santa, Mrs. Claus and all our volunteers ready to hand out toys and good cheer!

Guests – young and old – will also get an opportunity to have their picture taken with Santa & Mrs Claus.

Children that attend the event will also be given a pair of mitts, scarves and hats that were donated from the Scrap Yarn Project, a local initiative that was started by Bonnie McBride. www.scrapyarnproject.com

Bear Your Heart will also be donating all canned food items collected on our behalf to the Soup Kitchen; and toys will be distributed to the Women in Crisis and families in need.

Bear Your Heart also has a surplus of toys this year.
