Important notice about Santa Claus Parade parking

****************************** Parking and traffic flow for night of the Rotary Santa Claus Parade

Parade viewers:

Due to the Soo Major International Showdown and the Greyhound game on Saturday, November 20, 2010, parking will be at a premium around the Essar Centre. 

The Rotary Club of Sault Ste. Marie requests that if the public intends on viewing the parade in the block of the Essar Centre, that you consider carpooling, arrive earlier to leave time to find a parking spot, or take public transportation. 

Or the public could locate to another section of Queen Street where parking may be more available.

The Soo Greyhounds have released the following:

Due to the Santa Clause Parade on Saturday, November 20 at 6 p.m., the parking lot will be closed off; you must have your ticket for that night’s game to park in the Essar Centre parking lot.

Greyhound patrons:

Queen Street will be closed from Simpson to Gore Streets from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. 

Wellington and Bay Streets will be open. 

Please plan your trip to the game that night accordingly.
