************************* Speeding vehicle results in arrest

GARDEN RIVER FIRST NATION, ON - On the 13th of February at approximately 8:10 p.m., an eastbound vehicle registered on radar at speeds in excess of 160 kilometres an hour in a posted 90 kilometres-an-hour zone on Highway 17 on the Garden River First Nation.

The vehicle was stopped and the driver was found to also be impaired.

Charged with stunt driving, drive while suspended, use of plates not authorized, having open liquor in a vehicle and impaired driving is Darrid David Wainwright, age 19, of Highway 17 Johnson Township.
