Federal Liberal leader Michael Ignatieff is in Sault Ste. Marie today as part of the last leg of his summer tour.

Ignatieff (seen with wife Zsuzsanna Zsohar at a 2006 barbecue at Maplewood Golf Course) will be at the Water Tower Inn this morning to meet with representatives of Algoma University, Sault College, the local school boards and the Sault Ste. Marie Innovation Centre, for a roundtable discussion on education and innovation.

Next comes a spaghetti and meatball lunch with a whole bunch of his closest friends, supporters and curious onlookers at the Marconi Hall, where he's expected to share a few thoughts and listen to the words of others.

After lunch, Ignatieff and his Liberal Express team will be boarding their bus bound for the fall fair in Bruce Mines, where they'll be having some fun at the fair before meeting members of the Algoma Federation of Agriculture.
