The Sault College Public Relations and Event Management Program, in partnership with PUC Services Inc. is seeking participants for a series of focus groups designed to help PUC improve the way it does business with residential customers. The event is scheduled for April 10, 2019, from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m., at the Water Tower Inn.

The event is designed to engage with local PUC residential customers and gather feedback on the way PUC operates. The goal of the evening is to find ways to make the customer experience with PUC simpler and more convenient.

“This is the second year that we’ve done something like this,” says Giordan Zin, PUC manager of customer engagement and corporate communications. “Last year we held a similar event geared towards improving the way we did business with our commercial customers and contract service providers.”

“Learning and conducting focus groups helps the students understand the importance of gathering public opinions in the community and the value of participant’s reactions and responses,” says Natasha DeActis professor in the Public Relations and Event Management Program.

“We are pleased to once again partner with Sault College’s PEM program to facilitate these focus group sessions,” says Zin.

Due to the limited number of spots available for this event, customers wishing to participate are asked to register in advance by contacting Marisa Stopes at 705-759-6581, or by email at [email protected], before April 5, 2019.
