It's Friday the 13th, and you're looking at Trouble - one of seven black cats available for adoption today through the Sault Ste. Marie Humane Society.

"If you were a cat hoping to find a new home, black is not the colour you would want to be," shelter manager Cindy Ross tells SooToday.com.

"Statistics at our shelter and humane societies across the province all indicate the same sad fact - black cats are the least popular choice of new adopters."

Those that don't find homes must be put down.

Thus Trouble is joined by Paddy, Betty, Lollipop, Sabrina, MeowMeow and Kohl in hoping that maybe you can provide a good home?
