'I have never seen anything as sad as this was'

SooToday.com received the following note this afternoon from faithful reader Lori Mills:

************************* Hello, this is an e-mail of what we saw today at Finn Hill.

I was there with my five-year-old son today going to meet some of his friends, and their moms and dads.

When we got to the hill, a man from the city was on the hill.

At that moment I was not sure what he was doing until we got a closer look.

He was cleaning up - or trying to clean up - the entire hill full of broken beer and liquor bottles.

I have never seen anything as sad as this was.

There was not one area of the hill that did not have a bottle or piece of glass on it.

I am writing this letter in my disappointment toward the people who did this.

I am sure the man from the city is going to do his best in cleaning up the mess, but there can be a piece of glass that he may miss and I would not want to see anyone getting hurt.

I did contact the police to report this as well, so they can keep an eye on the hill at night time.
