BEAUCAGE TOWNSHIP, ON - The lone occupant, a 71-year-old of Cache Bay, was transported to the North Bay General Hospital with serious life threatening injuries and has since succumbed to his injuries.

Both lanes were reopened to traffic shortly after 12 noon.

Investigation is still ongoing.

BEAUCAGE TOWNSHIP, ON – North Bay OPP and members of the Traffic Technical Collision Investigation (TTCI) are currently investigating a serious single motor vehicle collision on Highway 17, west of North Bay, Ontario, near the lookout.

The collision occurred at approximately 7 a.m.

The lone occupant has been transported to the North Bay General Hospital with serious life-threatening injuries. At this time, the driver’s name is being withheld pending next-of-kin notification.

One lane has been reopened to traffic.

Investigation is still ongoing.
