Hughes Street woman hurts arm in tussle with police

************************* On Friday February 9 at approximately 11:45 p.m. City Police were called to an address in the 200 block of Wellington Street West regarding a disturbance.

After investigating the incident officers arrested a female for breach of the peace.

At this time another female obstructed one of officers by grabbing and holding onto him.

While wrestling with the officers the accused fell and suffered an injury to her left arm.

Elma Wabigwan, age 50, of 37 Hughes Street has been charged with obstruct police and will be appearing in court on March 19.

The accused attended the hospital where she was treated and released.
