The District of Sault Ste. Marie Social Services Administration Board recognizes Child Care Worker and Early Childhood Educator Appreciation Day.

Tuesday, Oct. 16 marks the 18th annual Child Care Worker and Early Childhood Educator Appreciation Day, which recognizes the hard work, as well as meaningful care and continuous learning opportunities that committed Child Care Workers and Early Childhood Educators provide to children every day.

Social Services would like to acknowledge local Child Care Workers and Early Childhood Educators in licensed Child Care programs and EarlyON Child and Family Centres across the District of Sault Ste. Marie.

This year’s theme is 'Champions for Children' in recognition of the essential role that Child Care Workers and Early Childhood Educators play in the lives of our youngest learners.

Social Services would like to take this opportunity to pay tribute to, and extend sincere gratitude to, all the CHAMPIONS in our community for the positive impact they, as skilled and caring professionals, have on the lives of children and their families.
