Howard Conway accused of high-speed impaired

************************* Forty-four-year-old Howard Conway of 53 St. Georges Avenue (upstairs) was arrested on the 10th of November at 10:13 p.m. on Irwin Street and charged with one count of impaired driving, one count of consume over the legal limit and one count of possession of a controlled drug or substance.

It is alleged that on the 10th of November at 10:04 p.m., City Police observed a vehicle that was travelling at a very high rate of speed in an eastbound direction on Trunk Road.

Officers stopped the vehicle on Irwin Avenue and a check of the driver revealed that he was under the influence of alcohol.

At the time of his arrest he was found to be in possession of a small amount of marijuana.

He is to appear in court on the 14th of December.
