How to train your (bearded) dragon. Or not

We at SooToday.com don't normally post notices regarding missing pets on our main news page. However, we enjoy odd and weird things and determined a missing dragon was unique enough to make the cut.

However, we enjoy odd and weird things and determined a missing dragon was unique enough to make the cut.

His name is Spike (pictured), and his owner would really, really like him returned safely.

"My bearded dragon was accustomed to relaxing in the cedar trees in the back yard on Kensington Terrace on sunny weekend days," faithful reader Matt Cain wrote to us. "It enjoys a diet of Swiss chard, kale, and beet tops. This week it went missing. Can you spread the neighbourly word and help bring it home?"

If you happen to spot Spike munching on some foliage in your yard, or basking in the afternoon sun, please do the neighbourly thing and contact Matt at 705-206-0540.
