How a Saultbie successfully arm-twisted Perez Hilton

Hollywood celebrity gossip guru Perez Hilton (no relation to Paris), has been making headlines rather than writing them at his famous blog site, PerezHilton.com

Not only is the outspoken self-proclaimed Queen of All Media following Britney Spears around on tour to give his readers the inside scoop, but now, he's stepped outside of the rumour mill to endorse a charity.

And it's all thanks to Linnea Primeau's crazy idea.

The former special events coordinator for the Sault Branch of the Lung Association wrote to Mr. Hilton this past summer, outlining the organization's mandate and its ever-growing need for contributions from the community.

"From reading articles and visiting his personal website, who would have ever thought he might help a charity, especially one in Ontario! But we were wrong," Alyssa Scali of the Lung Association tells SooToday.com.
