House trashed in Nestorville

NESTORVILLE, ON – On May 27 at approximately 9:15 a.m., the East Algoma Thessalon Detachment were contacted regarding a break and enter to a residence located on Highway 17 in Nestorville, Ontario.

Nestorville is located approximately three kilometres west of Thessalon.

Suspects broke into the residence and destroyed doors, walls, the bathroom area and several windows.

The damage is estimated at $5,000.

BLIND RIVER, ON – On May 26 at approximately 8:15 a.m., members of the East Algoma Blind River Detachment responded to a break and enter located on Hanes Avenue, Blind River, Ontario.

The break and enter occurred sometime between May 25 at 5:30 p.m. and May 26 at 8:15 a.m.

Approximately $200 was taken.

THESSALON FIRST NATION, ON. – On May 27 at approximately 8:30 a.m. the East Algoma Thessalon OPP were dispatched to a break-and-enter on Biish Road, Thessalon First Nation.

Suspects pried a door open and took a five-gallon container of gasoline.

BLIND RIVER, ON – On May 26 at approximately 7:50 a.m., the East Algoma Blind River Detachment received a call regarding a break-and-enter on Hudson Street in Blind River.

Suspects entered the building damaging doors, windows, walls and a desk.

It is estimated that approximately $300 in damage occurred.

Nothing was taken.
