The Soo Greyhounds now have one less local product on their roster.
The club has announced the trading of Sault Ste. Marie native Brett Thompson to another OHL team.
At the time of the deal, he was the Hounds' top goal scorer this year with 25 markers and 21 assists in 40 games.
The veteran forward began his OHL career with the Sudbury Wolves in 2007.
