Hospitalizations up two, active case count drops by 90 in Algoma region: APH

Algoma Public Health is reporting 47 new COVID-19 cases in Algoma, with two new hospitalizations from Friday's update.

There are currently 11 hospitalizations in Algoma with one other individual hospitalized that is a non-Algoma resident temporarily in the region.

The number of confirmed cases in the region stands at 2,931, up by 47 from Friday and the number of active cases is 547.

The active case count is down 90 from Friday.

APH is reporting a total of 221,491 COVID tests have been completed in the region since the start of the pandemic, a number that is up by 387 from Friday's report.
