Hospitalization numbers unchanged, number of active cases up slightly in latest APH COVID numbers

The region currently has four hospitalizations and one other individual hospitalized who is not from Algoma and temporarily in the region

The latest COVID-19 numbers from Algoma Public Health see the number of hospitalizations in Algoma remain unchanged from Tuesday's update.

There are currently four hospitalizations in the region though there is one additional hospitalization that is not counted against the total as it is a non-Algoma resident who is temporarily in the region.

The active case count sits at 616, up slightly from Tuesday's total of 611.

APH reported 656 additional COVID-19 tests in Algoma on Wednesday and has tested a total of 616,972 individuals.
