Hornepayne accident claims life of Massey man

************************* Fatal motor vehicle collision

Members of the Superior East OPP Detachment in Hornepayne are currently investigating a fatal motor vehicle collision on Highway 631, 28 kilometres south of Hornepayne.

Preliminary Investigation reveals that at approximately 7:15 p.m. a southbound 2002 Chevrolet 10-person van for yet-to-be-determined reasons left the roadway rolling over in the west ditch.

Seven of the nine passengers received injuries and were treated at the Hornepayne Hospital.

One passenger was fatally injured when he was thrown from the vehicle.

Deceased is a Clayton Southwind, age 27, of Massey, Ontario. Superior East OPP, Hornepayne, are continuing their investigation with the assistance of Technical Traffic Collision Investigators.
