Homeowner, teen scuffle over mitre saw

************************* A 15-year-old male youth was arrested on the 1st of October at 5:35 p.m. and charged with one count of robbery, one count of threaten death or bodily harm, one count of breach of a release document, one count of breach of probation and one count of break, enter and commit.

It is alleged that around 5 p.m. on the 1st of October, the accused broke into a garage at a centrally located residence and stole a mitre saw [not exactly as illustrated].

When the accused was fleeing, he threatened the home owner who attempted to get the saw back from him.

A passerby stopped to assist and the accused dropped the saw and fled.

Officers located him a sort time later and arrested him.

At the time of the offence the accused was on probation conditions to keep the peace and be of good behaviour and to notify police of his change of address.
