************************* Twenty-seven-year-old Curtis James Pheasant of 227 Alexandra Street was arrested on the 3rd of September at 12:30 p.m. at Rome’s Grocery Store and charged with theft.

It is alleged that the accused stole a box of Pop Tarts.

He is to appear in court on the 5th of October.

************************* A 17-year-old young person was arrested on the 3rd of September at 8:05 p.m. in the 600 block of Second Line West and charged with theft.

It is alleged that the accused exited the A&P at 275 Second Line West with a cart full of grocery items for which he did not pay.

He was subsequently located by police and charged.

************************* Three youths were seen checking cars in the Admiral Street area on September 4 at 2:50 a.m.

Two young offenders were located by police in the area while the third fled on foot.

The two young offenders were taken home to their parents and issued with a caution under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

************************** Rocks were thrown at vehicles parked at Algoma Auto Sales on Wellington Street West.
