************************* NELSON, Hector Daniel – Passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 10, 2008 at the Sault Area Hospital, Plummer Site at the age of 94.
Beloved husband of the late Mary (nee Jagger).
Much loved father of Ralph (late Marilyn), Bobby (late Rose), Betty Cruickshank (Jim), Nancy Hachey (Frank), Charlie, Dana Stevens (Wilfred) and a cherished dad to Lisa Hebert (Allan).
Loving grandfather of 16, great-grandfather of 21 (one deceased) and great-great-grandfather of two.
Dear brother of Redvers (Joan), Edmond (Ruby), Francis (Pat), Donny (Bonnie), Margaret Diboll (late Frank), Marie Cain (late Alex), Alma Ingabrand (late Kenny), late Donna Joan, late Hubert and the late Paul (late Clara Jean).
Survived by his sister-in-law Nell Gjos.
Uncle of many nieces and nephews.
Hector will be sadly missed by his Hilton Beach Tourist Park family.
Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home and Cremation Centre on Sunday, April 13, 2008 from 12 noon to 4 p.m.
Funeral service to be held from the Hilton Beach Community Centre on Monday, April 14, 2008 at 11 a.m.
Mr. Bruce Cain officiating.
Interment in the spring.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made to the St. Joseph Island Lion’s Club or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
