More tests are needed to determine why actor Heath Ledger died, a medical examiner said this morning.

His autopsy results are inconclusive and the additional tests are expected to take about 10 days.

Ledger was found dead yesterday near some sleeping pills in his Lower Manhattan apartment.

The actor was nominated for an Academy Award for his role in Brokeback Mountain.
