Thursday morning update

Donna Barron reports that her missing necklace is safe and sound, having shown up yesterday at a local pawn shop.

************************* Okay, SooToday.com News isn't a lost-and-found department.

But we found the uniqueness of this missing piece and its enormous sentimental value to its owner extremely endearing.

The necklace pictured belongs to Donna Barron.

It's made of gold taken from her father's World War II medals, as well as a St. Christopher medal his mother gave him before he shipped overseas in 1941.

The stones are from wedding rings that belonged to Donna's mother and grandmother.

Unfortunately, the necklace was left by accident at Beauty Tips in the Cambrian Mall on September 14.

Donna is offering a $1,000 reward for the return of the item.

No questions asked.

If anyone has any information as to its whereabouts, they're urged to contact Donna at 253-7807 or 987-2620.
