ALGOMA PUBLIC HEALTH

*************************** Algoma Public Health is requesting the public’s assistance.

On May 27, 2009 at 5:20 a.m., a victim was bitten by a dog.

The incident took place in Sault Ste. Marie near the railway tracks at Wellington and North Street.

The dog ran out from the west side of North Street by the train tracks, approached and bit the victim.

The dog is described as a brown Rottweiler-type dog with patch over an eye.

If you observed this incident or know of a dog that fits this description, please contact Algoma Public Heath at 705-541-7347.

Algoma Public Health would like to remind everyone to make sure your pet is vaccinated against rabies each year, and to keep your pet safe and in control at all times.
