Hart Stores to open location in Cambrian Mall

Hart Stores, a Canadian chain of discount department stores, will soon be opening an outlet in Sault Ste. Marie’s Cambrian Mall.

The company is currently looking for a manager, assistant manager, 12 full and part time clerks, 10 opening helpers (temporary positions) and four full and part time warehouse clerks.

It is anticipated Hart Stores will open its Sault outlet at Cambrian Mall in September.

Hart offers a variety of merchandise, including fashion and basic apparel, house wares, gifts, toys, bed and bath items, electronics and furniture.

The Cambrian Mall outlet will mark a return to the Sault for the company, as a Hart Stores outlet previously operated at Market Mall.

The first Hart store opened in Quebec in 1960, the business eventually expanding to more than 80 stores by 2015. Hart Stores locations are currently located throughout Ontario, Quebec and New Brunswick. Stores typically range in size from 15,000 to 55,000 square feet.
