Harold Vincent charged with impaired driving

************************* Fifty-five-year-old Harold Vincent of #1-36 Clearview Drive was arrested on the 18th of October at 2:19 a.m. on Great Northern Road and charged with one count of impaired driving and one count of failing to provide breath a breath sample.

It is alleged that on the 18th of October at 2:19 a.m., City Police observed a Ford pickup that was travelling at a high rate of speed eastbound on Second Line East in front of the police station.

The vehicle then struck several pylons set out for construction at the Great Northern Road intersection.

Police were able to stop the truck on Great Northern Road and at the time, the driver was found to be under the influence of alcohol.

He was arrested and brought to station where he [allegedly] refused to provide a breath sample.

He is to appear in court on the 23rd of November.
