Guy accused of trying to cut girlfriend's hair off

************************* An 18-year-old male was arrested at a centrally located address yesterday afternoon and charged with one count of assault and one count of assault with a weapon.

It is alleged that yesterday afternoon the accused attended at his girlfriend's residence and while there assaulted the victim by choking her and grabbing her by the hair.

The accused is then alleged to have attempted to cut off her hair with a pair of scissors.
