Guy accused of following ex-girlfriend to church

********************* A 37-year-old male will appear in bail court this morning after being arrested yesterday morning.

It is alleged that the accused and his ex-girlfriend showed up separately in a downtown restaurant yesterday morning.

The female tried to avoid the male but he approached her.

She left the restaurant and it is alleged that the male then showed up at her downtown address uninvited.

The female left the residence after it is alleged the male refused to leave.

The female then went to a church and then another restaurant, all the while allegedly being followed by the accused.

The police were subsequently called and the male was arrested.

The accused was on release order with a number of conditions including abstain from consuming alcohol, not to communicate with the ex-girlfriend, not to attend at her address and not to molest, harass or annoy her.

The male has been charged with four counts of breach of a release order and one count of criminal harassment.
