Guy accused of calling ex-girlfriend 60 times

********************** At approximately 5:50 a.m. yesterday morning City Police attended at a downtown location and arrested a 44-year-old male for mischief, assault.

It is alleged that the accused attended at his ex- girlfriend’s residence and broke several windows and assaulted her.

The victim suffered minor injuries as a result of the glass breaking.

The accused was further charged with criminal harassment – this was as a result of the victim advising police that she received approximately 60 phone calls from the accused, the previous night.

All of the phone calls consisted of the accused yelling and swearing at the victim.

The accused will be appearing in bail court today at 10 a.m. on charges of assault, mischief and criminal harassment.
