Guns stolen from house of man who died recently

MACDONALD TWP, ON - Sometime within the past two weeks a residence in the 3000 block of Highway 17 in MacDonald Township was broken into and ransacked.

The house had been vacant as the owner had passed away and was being looked after by family members.

The gun safe had been pulled away from the wall it was bolted to and pryed open.

Stolen items included four firearms:

- One restricted semi-automatic handgun.

- One bolt-action rifle.

- One pump-action rifle.

- One bolt-action shotgun.
