************************* Drug warrant charges

On the 26th of February at approximately 8:30 p.m., members of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Services street team, the Ontario Provincial Police drug unit and the Ontario Provincial Police organized crime enforcement bureau conducted a drug investigation that led to the execution of a search warrant at 123 Elgin Street, the residence of 26-year-old Justin Kenneth Flood.

During the course of the search, officers located a marijuana grow operation with 15 plants growing.

Officers also located 21 grams of cannabis marijuana, 454 grams of marijuana shake and grow equipment.

As a result, Justin Flood has been charged with one count of production of a controlled drug or substance, one count of possession of a controlled drug or substance for the purpose of trafficking and two counts of possession of a controlled drug or substance.

The estimated street value of the drugs seized is $15,664.

The accused is to appear in court on the 12th of April.
