************************* SAULT STE. MARIE, ON - (April 28, 2009) - In response to the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care’s health notice to healthcare professionals regarding severe respiratory illness (SRI), the following has been implemented at Group Health Centre:
• Entrance to the main 240 McNabb Street facility will be limited to two entrances off of the parking lot (one door into the main lobby and one next to the lab), to enable nurses to ask patients questions about any possible symptoms, recent travels to Mexico, and contacts with people who may have been at risk.
• Patients are asked to report a few minutes early for their appointments in order to be screened.
