Gregory Falkins charged with attempted murder

City Police announced this afternoon that they've arrested 37-year-old Gregory Ronald Falkins for attempted murder in connection with a knife-and-baseball-bat assault last weekend.

City Police announced this afternoon that they've arrested 37-year-old Gregory Ronald Falkins for attempted murder in connection with a knife-and-baseball-bat assault last weekend.

Falkins also faces charges of aggravated assault and possession of a weapon dangerous to the public peace.

The alleged assault took place at approximately 7:30 p.m.last Saturday in the 100 block of Allard Street.

Two males involved were taken to the General Hospital and admitted with various injuries. Police report that Falkins turned himself in at the police station, where he was arrested without incident.

He'll appear in bail court on May 26.
