The digital photography graduating class at Sault College will present its Graduation Gala 2013 at the Canadian Bushplane Heritage Centre on Friday, April 19 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
The graduates most prized photographs and professional portfolios will be featured.
Artist Joe Kargi will be performing instrumentals and h'orderves will be available.
"Centering on the theme of RAW, the skills of each student have evolved from the first day of class throughout their two-year studies," notes a news release from the the students.
"The photographers push the limits of photography and play on the line of ethics, displaying works from fine art nude to conceptual story-telling. With gripping images enflaming the senses, the photographers have enticed taste, pushing food photography to the edge, drawing viewers in with nude figure studies and evocative lighting, engaging senses of sight, playing with light and extreme subject matter.
"The graduating photographers professionalism comes across in great depths. Emerging into the professional world of photography, the students embrace change and embark on their future paths to success. Firmly standing behind the two-year program at Sault College, the photography students are proud to represent what two years of dedication and determination produces."
