************************* Ballfield damaged

FENWICK TWP, ON - Sometime over the past several days the ball field at Captain Tilley Park in Goulais River has been vandalized.

It appears that two vehicles, one being an ATV and the other a full-size pickup truck, have been doing donuts on the field portion which has left several large ruts in the field.

This is the third time this has occurred.

************************ School vandalized

LAIRD TWP, ON - Sometime between Friday November 12 and Monday November 15 several screens were removed from classroom windows and the principal’s office at Laird Central School.

No entry was gained to the school.

The mailbox located at the front of the school had been gone through and some mail was also stolen.
