Gore Street drug hustle goes bad

NEWS RELEASE

************************* Yesterday evening City Police arrested William MacDonald, age 46, of 418 Albert Street West and Jennifer Terhorst, age 33, of no fixed abode and charged each with one count of possession of property obtained by crime, one count of theft over $5,000 and one count of possession of a controlled substance.

It is alleged that at approximately 7:30 p.m. last night the two accused were seen in a vehicle on Gore Street, purchasing drugs.

After the transaction the accused drove off and were stopped by police.

Officers arrested the two accused after locating a small quantity of marijuana in the vehicle.

It was also discovered that the vehicle the accused were in, a white Chevrolet van had been reported stolen in Thunder Bay.

Both accused will be appearing in bail court today.
