Shortly after 9:30 p.m. on the 9th of February, a driver was southbound on North Street and stopped at Wellington Street West.
Shortly after 9:30 p.m. on the 9th of February, a driver was southbound on North Street and stopped at Wellington Street West.
A male opened the passenger door of the vehicle, reached across the passenger and punched the driver several times.
The driver started to drive with the suspect still reaching in the vehicle.
The suspect fell out from the vehicle and the driver immediately reported the incident to police.
Both the male driver and his female passenger received non-life threatening injuries during the incident.
The suspect was wearing a black balaclava, a blue hoodie, and dark pants.
The investigation is continuing and is being followed up by officers from Investigation Services.
