Good Friday was a great one for latest 50/50 draw winner

One local resident is $14,048 richer after winning March's ARCH 50/50 draw.

Lucy Zimbaro almost missed the phone call on Good Friday, but did end up answering to receive the "shocking news," says a news release from from ARCH.

When Zimbaro told her family the big news, they immediately purchased ARCH 50/50 tickets for themselves. 

Zimbaro plans to retire in a year and a half and is immensely grateful to have this extra money set aside to enjoy with her husband.

ARCH is pleased to announce that Lucy Zimbaro has won $14,048 from the March 50/50 Grand Prize Draw with ticket #I-1457540. Lucy almost missed our phone call as she was busy preparing for her Good Friday dinner. Thankfully, she picked up and was shocked to find out the good news; she was the lucky winner of our March 50/50 Grand Prize Draw!

Lucy is a big supporter of ARCH Hospice as she has been purchasing our 50/50 tickets since the beginning and has already purchased her tickets for April. When the winner told her family the big news, they immediately purchased ARCH 50/50 tickets for themselves! Thank you for the tremendous support, Zimbaro Family! All lottery ticket purchases make a direct, positive impact on our palliative community and their loved ones.

The winner’s jackpot has a guaranteed minimum of $9,999 and Early Bird ticket holders will have a chance at winning an additional $1,000. Proceeds raised from the 50/50 go directly towards the care and support of hundreds of residents, community clients, and their families served by ARCH each year.
