Golf tourney to support 'special construction project' at ARCH

The Sault Ste. Marie Construction Association is shooting for a hole-in-one at its first ever charity golf tournament next month in support of ARCH Hospice.

The event June 7 at Crimson Ridge features a shot-gun start as well as a light breakfast, lunch and then dinner after the golfing is done.

Supporting ARCH Hospice means "supporting every family in our community," said Scott Booth, executive director of SSMCA.

Funds raised will support a "special construction project that has been on ARCH’s wish list for a long time," the hospice's Julie Premo said.

Sault Ste. Marie Construction Association (SSMCA) is thrilled to announce their first-ever Charity Golf Tournament at Crimson Ridge on Friday, June 7.

ARCH Hospice is pleased to be chosen as this year’s charity of choice! Proceeds will go towards supporting a special construction project at ARCH. Join in on the fun and help out your community!

ARCH Hospice provides quality, compassionate care through end-of-life to Algoma District families at no cost. Golfers will play in a scramble-style tournament beginning at 9 a.m. with a shotgun start. Registration begins at 8:15 a.m. in the tent where a light breakfast will be provided. With the option of hamburger or sausage, you can either grab your packed lunch from the IDA Cabana or Hole 7. Dinner will be in the tent following the tournament.
