SAULT AREA HOSPITAL FOUNDATION

BMO Bank of Montreal Sault Ste. Marie branches have just announced a good news partnership with the Sault Area Hospital Foundation.

Beginning immediately, for every new MasterCard application made at the three local BMO branches (Queen Street, Cambrian Mall, and Korah Road), the bank will make a $100 donation to the hospital.

Emily Thibeault, commercial account manager, says that they were very excited to hear that the local BMO branches would be able to offer this program to our community hospital.

"The BMO Bank of Montreal has a long standing history of supporting the community and we are pleased to be able to support the Sault Area Hospital Foundation in this unique way. For the first time ever, BMO has agreed to support and pilot a MasterCard Campaign locally exclusively for the Sault Area Hospital that will allow BMO to make a donation for every new MasterCard sold in the area."

Donations to the Hospital Foundation help to purchase equipment enabling the Hospital to provide the best services possible to its patients and in the upcoming year alone.

Cheryl Pavoni, executive director of the Sault Area Hospital Foundation is delighted to hear about this unique program.

"We are very pleased that the Bank of Montreal recognizes that maintaining our community hospital with the best possible equipment, is beneficial to all of us."

Cheryl explains that the program will be in effect from September for the next four months, ending on December 31, also noting that you do not have be an existing BMO Bank of Montreal customer to participate.

Application forms are available at all three local BMO branches in Sault Ste. Marie, as well as the Hospital Foundation and must be returned to the branches or the Foundation in order for the Hospital to receive the $100 donation.

BMO Bank of Montreal has set a target goal of receiving 100 applications which would result in a $10,000 donation to the Hospital.
